Work,work
For the past month now, I've been employed at local grocery store. Even though the job description was simple-I am a courtesy clerk, bagging merchandise and taking the bagged items to the customers' cars, and other odd jobs around the store. At my work, I meet lots of people- both interesting and simple. I was acually able to meet a French person- he had the accent, and he was a conaissour of food- he was trying a turducken for the first time(a turducken is a chicken stuffed into a duck stuffed into a turkey, which each are also filled with stuffing)! He also talked about his daughter being trilingual by the time she was starging high school! I'm just starting to become bilingual- french & english- and I'm already a junior in high school! There have been some other pretty fun things about work- Like when I worked on Christmas eve morning at 5:00 A.M., I was the only hyperly peppy person there- the others were still chugging coffee and rubbing the sleep from their eyes. My favorite part about my work, though, has to be making money while doing something I enjoy doing- helping people.
