The Morning After

The morning after. Everyone dreads the feeling of waking up groggy in the morning and thinking "uuuuhhhg". No, I am not talking about the day after getting drunk( I have yet to experience that or see someone else experience it). I am instead talking the day after your birthday- specifically my younger brother's birthday. Yesterday, my brother turned 14. He was livin' the good life, hanging out with his best friend the whole day doing whatever whimsical idea came to mind. He was pretty excited and peppy yesterday- at least compared to how he usually is. But, now that it is the morning after, he has become even more quiet, blunt, and grumpy than usual. I tried talking to him, and he paid no attention to him. I tried to get closer to him, and he just swiveled in his chair. So I left him to brew on the fact that his birthday- and the special prevlidges that come with it- are over to blog about it. :-D
